I am a retired electronics engineer and computer programmer. That sounds pretty boring, but let me just say that I’m part of the reason that you Windows users have really high quality pornography. I’m not talking about the content, just the audio and video. I started a software project in my spare room in Duval, WA. way back in 1989 that turned into a piece of what you have in Windows on your desktop or laptop today.
These days I’ve moved on from the products of the Evil Empire and use a Mac desktop, Macbook for travel, an iPad for movies in bed (interpret that as you see fit). I love Apple’s user interface, and I love the general way that my Mac just works. Except for the days when I’m doing electronics work in Eagle and the stupid, spinning beach ball of death comes for a visit.
